The Covid-19 pandemic may have harmed many parts of the U.K. economy but it was transformative for cycling. Lackluster sales in the ten years before 2020 saw the closure of hundreds of bike shops, and then, in March last year, a predicted disastrous downturn blossomed into a bike boom.
