The shade programme should create nearly 200 spaces with shade between now and 2027, seventy of them before this summer. Children’s play areas are a priority, as are school playgrounds and streets and squares which are particularly vulnerable and get intensive public use. The programme is one of the measures in the climate plan to adapt the city to the effects of climate change.
