The railroad provided 34.5 million rider trips, a 5.1% increase over FY24 and an all-time record, and collected adjusted ticket revenue of $2.7 billion, a first in Amtrak’s history and 10.4% higher year over year, Amtrak officials said in a press release. That FY25 bottom line puts the railroad on track to achieve train operational profitability by FY28, Amtrak officials said.
