Connecticut Municipal Development Association has $90 million to fund its efforts. Over the last year, 30 municipalities (and counting) have partnered with CMDA. Revolving loan funds have been quietly transforming the American built environment. All told, more than $2 billion dollars in public funding have unleashed a flywheel, circulating capital to more than 40,000 homes, with hundreds of millions of dollars being raised in just the last two years.
