NEXT Energy Technologies installed its first commercial facade with transparent organic photovoltaic (OPV) coatings at its Santa Barbara, California headquarters, featuring six transparent photovoltaic windows that remain indistinguishable from standard low-e coatings at normal viewing distances and generate power onsite, reduce heat gain, and can integrate with energy storage or the grid.
