Los Angeles adopted a Low-Rise Ordinance allowing up to four-story, 16-unit buildings in 57 previously single-family-zoned neighborhoods to delay implementation of California’s Senate Bill 79, which would upzone areas near transit stops statewide to permit buildings up to nine stories.
