Researchers conducted a systematic review of over 1,500 studies and found overwhelming evidence that biodiversity is good for human health and well-being, noting that urban actions such as planting native vegetation, reducing chemical pesticides, and building green spaces improve both physical and mental health and reduce exposure to environmental harms such as heat and pollution.
