Electrification and level boarding platforms would unlock big time savings for passengers, more frequent service, and eventually better interconnectivity with California High-Speed Rail and Brightline West. Planned improvements such as the Link US project at Los Angeles Union Station and frequency upgrades through Metrolink’s SCORE program would further make Metrolink a much more useful service for Southern California.
