Waymo is expanding its autonomous robotaxi service to Las Vegas, San Diego, and Detroit, joining existing operations in Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Austin, and planning further launches in locations including London, Nashville, New York, Denver, Seattle, Dallas, Washington, DC, Miami, Philadelphia and Tokyo. The company reports its vehicles drove over 100 million fully autonomous miles with 88% fewer serious-injury crashes than human drivers, and is rolling out updated technology and new vehicle partnerships for future service.
