Large majorities in nine middle-income countries say global climate change is affecting the area where they live, with most people also willing to make at least some adjustments to the way they live and work to reduce the effects of climate change. Droughts or water shortages are named as the top concern, and confidence in the international community’s ability to address climate change varies across countries.
