The four largest redevelopment projects on the horizon could collectively put more than 10,000 new homes on the peninsula, including the northernmost part known as the Neck Area. Public money is supporting all the largest projects, and all are expected to include substantial amounts of housing affordable to people with moderate incomes, close to the mid-point of what local residents earn.
